Lions Club of
Caroline Springs and District was formed on 15 August, 2007
at Caroline Springs (VIC) with efforts and initiatives of some of the
dedicated community members. With the support of sponsors, Melton
Lions, and twenty four charter members, the club was established with
a devoted sense of commitment, volunteering and community welfare.

As an
integral part of long and proud tradition of Lions Club
International, we look forward to contributing our efforts and
resources in serving the community through useful projects,
assistance, volunteer work, fund-raising and social networking to
bring maximum benefits to all the people in our district.
Members:
The members come from a wide spectrum of social, cultural and
professional backgrounds. At the moment, there is an excellent
representation of diverse age groups, cultures, professions, skills
and experiences within the club. The club invites all the interested
community members to join hands with us to make a
a real difference in the community. Lions OBJECTS and ETHICS are

Projects:
Lions plan, organise and run various community and fund-raising projects
within the district throughout the year. The fund-raising projects
are run with a singular objective of providing funding for important
and beneficial community projects. Remember, every single cent raised from
the community goes back into the community. The
members contribute their own funds (through club fees etc.) for
administrative activities.
Some of the projects run by us so far are Operation Safe Plate,
Christmas Cakes, and Letter from Santa. More projects are planned for
the current year.
Meetings:
We meet at THE CLUB, Caroline
Springs (Corner Caroline Springs Blvd.
and Western Hwy (Website) every second and fourth Wednesday
from 7:30-9:30 PM.
With a fast growing community in the west of Melbourne (VIC), we aim
to serve the community through a range of dedicated and committed
projects and services, reaching out to all the sections of the
community. We will strive to be an integral part of the community
service tradition of Lions Club International.
